BuyMeACoffee 2020 Review: How to Sell Products, Memberships and Build Your Blog (and your Brand) on the BuyMeACoffee.Com Platform

Buymeacoffee is really sweet. (and that’s coming from someone who really likes sweet coffee :)

Having built a number of online creator focused communities using a vast array of online tools and tech (see our MindfulMarketplace.com storefront on Podia, here) I was pretty dismissive of Buy Me a Coffee due to it’s “patronage” support focus, which is sort of antithetical to how I believe “makers” ought to think about marketing.

That said, after hearing a recurring drum beat of incredibly positive reviews from folks in my community and extended orbit…I decided to give Buy me a Coffee a try.

It’s not only beautiful, highly thought out and super easy to use, it’s also 100% free. (they charge a 5% fee on each transaction, but you can built out your entire platform without ever investing a penny)
