What can you borrow to build? What can you leverage to launch?

What gives you the appearance of superpowers? What makes you look like a wizard, wunderkind or magician in your niche, market, vertical, industry or local community?

How can you 10X your content, creativity, contribution, audience, impact and income…..on a bootstrap budget, OR through leveraging other people’s products+ platforms?

Let’s re-imagine a new way to build your brand, to cultivate a community and quite literally, 10X your output, impact (and ultimately your audience and income) with a simple content marketing workflow that is largely free to implement…and works like magic.

  • Go to Answerthepublic.com (free)
  • Run a query on the single keyword phrase that is most aligned with your expertise
  • Take 10 questions that you can easily answer from the list
  • Record audio answer for each one using Anchor.fm
  • Transcribe audio (transcribely) for a written version of each answer
  • Turn 1 or more audios into a video https://www.headliner.app/
  • Post one or two of the videos to youtube
  • Set up a Gumroad or Podia storefront/coure community (here is our podia course community/store)
  • Create your first course: For example — “The 10 questions every X ought to ask before launching Y….and the honest answers you need to succeed as a Z”
  • Create 10 modules with audio answers from the exact questions in step 2 (from answer the public)
  • Take the transcribed text from the audio and convert into a great looking PDF (use Canva for this — use Reedsy for this — tons of free options)
  • Create CANVA images of each of the 10 questions (using a template like this)
  • Share those to Pinterest and link back to the course 10 time (see example of pinterest traffic potential below…..with time investment of about 1 minute)
  • Extra credit! On email #1 (set up a workflow/email automation on purchase) Offer students, members, subscribers, clients, etc the opportunity to ASK MORE QUESTIONS (giving you more real problems to solve for your audience, demonstrate your expertise, serve your community overcome real challenges, etc — this can be a premium feature or not- use ANCHOR.FM for this for free — or if you want to really be a magician — use Videoask, the awesome new video question platform (from typeform)
  • On email #2 (or earlier) ask your members to become affiliates (refer madness!) giving them the ability to become ambassadors and evangelists for you and your brand
  • link the youtube video back to your course, your podia store, your gumroad page, your blog or website if you’d rather just do this for free….etc — free traffic with SEO optimized titles + content (questions taken from answer the public should rank super well)
  • EXTRA CREDIT: repurpose even MORE like a rockstar for brand buzz
  • re-write Q and A titles a wee bit and post on your blog, linking to CTA — the course, store, etc
  • use the medium IMPORT feature to bring post from your blog into a medium
  • Use a newsletter service like Getrevue, Curated or Substack to curate clips, snips and segements of all the above (and other relevant resources to other niche news, professional peers, products, etc — footprint)
  • Share everything on FB
  • Rinse repeate, ideate (is that a word?) tweak, critique, optimze, improve and iterate on all of the above — in 30 days you’ll have a kick ass amount of content, clients and and a community of evanglists/ambassadors and affiliates for your content, courses, community, blog, brand, business and bank account to boot.

Homework.

KEEP ASKING — WHAT CAN YOU BORROW TO BUILD? WHAT CAN YOU LEVERAGE TO LAUNCH? WHO HAS MY AUDIENCE? WHO “OWNS THE EYEBALLS” THAT WILL HELP ME BUILD MY BRAND? CAN I PIGGYBACK OFF OF THEIR PLATFORM IN AN ETHICAL WAY TO ATTRACT MY TRIBE? THE ANSWER IS ALMOST ALWAYS YES. FOR EXAMPLE — YOU CAN “BORROW” PINTEREST ATTENTION AND LEVERAGE THEIR AUDIENCE TO LAUNCH THE ENTIRE ENCHILADA ABOVE.
